Scout Seth does his best at local children’s ward

Gosport Scout, Seth Moore, (10) was inspired to collect gifts for the paediatric ward at QA to spread some Christmas cheer this December. With the help of his Scout friends he collected 45 toys and 25 books, all brand new, for those unable to come home this Christmas.

Kind hearted Seth has gone above and beyond in upholding the Scout promise of doing his best and helping others by collecting a huge amount of gifts for the local paediatric ward. Sharing his appeal with his friends, family, and fellow members of the 6th Gosport Scout Group, Seth was on a mission to collect as many toys as possible in the hope of making children smile at a difficult time of year to be in hospital.

Seth's parents, Helen and Nick could not be prouder of his determination and festive spirit sharing how he has 'always had the kindest of hearts and is always looking for ways to improve the lives of other, particularly those that are disadvantaged'

Seth is often at the heart of his Scout community with his kindness shining through, Group Lead Volunteer at the 6th Gosport Scout Group, Lisa Young explained that Seth 'has a bit of a track record for his kindness and supporting others, and it's lovely to see him expand this outside of the Scout group to those that really need a boost at Christmas time. We're very proud of him'
