Portsmouth nail tech takes on 24-hour Nailathon for Lymphoma Action

A Portsmouth nail technician is preparing to work around the clock in a 24-hour “Nailathon” to raise vital funds for Lymphoma Action, inspired by her close friend Chloe age 23 who is currently undergoing treatment for lymphoma.
Abi Grove, owner of Bella’s Beauty in Copnor, will begin her nailathon at 8 am on Friday, November 7, working continuously until 8 am the following morning — creating nail sets, welcoming supporters, and encouraging donations throughout the night.
The first 12 hours (8 am–8 pm) will run at normal salon pricing, while the overnight session (8 pm–8 am) will be donation-only, with every penny raised going directly to the charity.
Abi said: "Seeing what Chloe has been through really put things into perspective for me. I wanted to do something meaningful that shows her just how loved she is, while also raising awareness for others going through lymphoma."

Supporters can donate through Abi’s JustGiving page and follow updates via Bella’s Beauty on social media.
Lymphoma is the UK’s fifth most common cancer, and Lymphoma Action provides emotional and practical support to those affected, as well as vital research and awareness campaigns.
Abi added: “This isn’t just about raising money — it’s about showing Chloe and others facing lymphoma that they’re not alone. I’ll be tired, but every hour will be worth it if it helps even one person feel supported.”
