Guardian Angel Carers celebrates double shortlist at 2026 Home Care Awards
Guardian Angel Carers Fareham is celebrating after being shortlisted at the prestigious 2026 Home Care Awards for Team Support Expertise, and also being jointly-recognised alongside Guardian Angel Carers Chichester and Guardian Angel Carers Worthing for Live-in Care Expertise.
The Team Support Expertise shortlisting recognises the branch’s focus on supporting its CareAngels. Over the past year, the team has introduced paid induction and shadowing, regular check-ins and supervision, and reflective training to help them build skills and confidence. Wellbeing benefits including Vitality Healthcare, the Blue Light Card and a Sphere Bonus, have also been introduced to help CareAngels stay well in a demanding role.
The joint Live-In Care Expertise shortlisting highlights collaboration across the South Coast. The Fareham team works closely with colleagues in Chichester and Worthing to share learning, align policies and support one another to deliver consistently high quality live-in care across the region. The shared approach covers everything from initial assessment and matching the right CareAngel to the right client, to agreeing clear routines and boundaries at home, including time for breaks and rest.

The Home Care Awards winners will be announced on 6th March, 2026 at The National Conference Centre.
