Gosport Festival ends the summer in style

The extremely popular Gosport Sunset Festival opened its gates on Friday 29th of August for it's third year in succession. Large crowds enjoyed over 80 acts including, tribute bands such as Thin White Duke (David Bowie) A Headful of Coldplay and Foo Fighterz gracing the Magic Bus Stage. There was also the Mellow Yellow Stage for local singer song writers and the popular Underground/ Overground stage which housed an original bands night with the standout Samzara Band, Burlesque and Ready to Rock School.

This local community event also had several other attractions such as a petting zoo, Punch and Judy Show and magician for the younger visitors as well as axe throwing for the older ones.

All of this alongside a variety of stalls, bars and world food vendors including Masterchef winner Koh Soi, Aussie Outback Grill and a Double Decker Diner provided a wide selection of reasonably priced options for the whole family to enjoy.

Overall there was a great atmosphere and vibe at this family orientated event for the whole community to enjoy.

The organisers Jeremy Gaskin and John Seymour and their team should be proud of this outstanding event for the local community. It really was another world on your doorstep.
