The facility is set to open at the former Ashcroft Arts Centre in Osborn Road in may this year after the site was disposed of last year as a result of funding cuts by Hampshire County Council.
"We run a private early-years family hub (one of the most complete private early-years family hubs in the UK), a flagship physical space for the first 1,001 critical days, in the UK. We are currently in a scout hall in Fareham one day a week but due to having over 100 families visit per day, we are now in a very lucky position thanks to a partnership with Hopscotch Nurseries, and will now be opening a brand-new facility from May," the Hopscotch Day Nursery Group said.
"Our sessions include parent education workshops, baby development groups, postnatal wellbeing sessions, and infant care support for families with babies and young children.
"With our partnership we are now opening up to families from conception to their child starting school.
"Our facility will include a 1:1 support room for practitioners, NHS services and daily baby-weigh-in, a community studio for external small businesses and in-house classes/workshops, a Connection Zone, where parents receive practical insights and play therapy to help with parent-child connection, a beautiful large sensory room for hosting child and parent relaxation sessions, a quiet reflection space for small groups or individuals, along with a community cafe sponsored by local businesses.
"We already have partnerships with NHS Paediatrics for immunisations and vaccine trials, guidance from Andrea Leadsome regarding 1,001 Critical Days movement, partnership with Lullaby Trust and Ikea for sponsorship of the community studio."
