This Saturday 24th January the Denmead Grange Care Home team will be on hand for their Open Day Event.
Denmead Grange Care Home is a care home with a wonderful team of dedicated carers, led by a highly regarded inspirational General Manager, an infectiously positive Activities Leader and a Head Chef who is widely considered to be gifted. Care decisions can so often feel daunting, there is often confusion about what is involved and who does what. For example; Is a social worker involved, who tells you when Mum or Dad needs a care home, who pays?
Sometimes decisions have to be made in a hurry after an unexpected hospital admission, sometimes family members are being moved from out of the are, sometimes loved ones are being moved from one care home to another. Whatever the circumstances the well established and experienced team at Denmead Grange are here to help, to support in those conversations and to share information, experience and advice.
A visit on Saturday offers the opportunity to both view the home, review the full activities programme, take a look at the beautiful woodland setting, test a bed out and taste some of the beautiful food. You will meet the General Manager Abbie Johnston, see her team in action and ask the questions that you have.
Denmead Grange is set amidst the woods alongside the appropriately named Forest Road and residents regularly see the local wildlife from their spacious rooms and glorious gardens, decking and windows.

Denmead Grange care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering personalised care across its care homes and hospitals. Denmead Grange provides residential and dementia care for 60 residents from respite care to long term stays.
