Community spirit shines as housebuilder supports Burridge Summer Fete
The team at Cala Homes (Southern) provided the community event with hands on support and a £5,000 sponsorship.
Cala Homes (Southern) pledged its ongoing commitment to the local community by supporting the Burridge Summer Fete, held at Burridge Village Hall earlier this summer.
The inaugural event brought together families and residents from across the area for a day of entertainment, stalls, and village celebrations. As part of Cala’s Community Pledge to Burridge, the housebuilder provided a £5,000 sponsorship alongside hands-on support from staff volunteers.
Cala also helped ensure the event ran smoothly by funding key infrastructure, including fencing and essential amenities such as toilets for the day.
In addition, Cala helped create bespoke promotional materials in the lead-up to the fete, helping to drive awareness and attendance across the community.
The support formed part of Cala’s ongoing Community Pledge to Burridge, which was launched alongside its local development, The Willows. The pledge is designed to deliver meaningful benefits tailored to the needs of the local community which includes funding, volunteering, education, and environmental support.
