Clanfield School gets a fresh new look

Pupils and staff at Clanfield School will be returning to a brighter and more welcoming environment after the half-term break, thanks to a local housebuilder.
Over the week-long holiday, the school received a well-deserved refresh, including a fresh lick of paint across classrooms and shared spaces, giving a vibrant new feel, creating an inspiring space for students to learn and thrive.
The project was funded by leading housebuilder Barratt David Wilson Homes Southampton division, which provided the teams and support needed for the project.
Now the pupils have returned, they are absolutely delighted, says Head Teacher Kati Dawkins: “Our school has been transformed and we are so pleased, it was such a big job! We’re all thrilled with the result, it makes for a much brighter environment for the children and they were all excited to come back and see how the school had changed over their half term break. Thank you to Barratt for your support!”
The project was part of Barratt Homes’ ongoing commitment to supporting local communities around its developments. The homebuilder regularly partners with schools, charities, and community groups to make a positive difference in the areas it builds.
Marketing Manager of Barratt David Wilson Homes Southampton Division, Megan Hamlyn, said: “Barratt works hard to make a positive difference in local communities and supporting Clanfield School was a wonderful opportunity to give back locally and help ensure students have an uplifting and inspiring place to learn.”
