Bere Grove Care Home, Gales Rise, Horndean is delighted to share the success of its Christmas Fair, held on Sunday, December 7, which brought an afternoon of festive fun, community spirit for residents, families and the wider community.

The event featured a visit from Father Christmas, seasonal stalls, live music, and a wonderful performance from a local choir, creating a busy warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the home.

A key highlight of the day was the charity raffle in aid of Age Concern Cowplain, supporting the valuable work the organisation does for older people within the community. Thanks to the enthusiasm of those who attended and the generosity of families, local businesses, and supporters £180 was raised and presented at the Age Concern Friday lunch club.

Julie at Age Concern expressed her thanks: “We are incredibly thankful to Bere Grove Care Home for choosing Age Concern Cowplain as the charity to support at this annual event. This contribution makes a real difference to the older people we help every day, and we are truly appreciative of the kindness shown by everyone involved.”
