AFC Portchester calls on community to support Christmas Charity Donation Appeal

This Christmas, AFC Portchester is calling on the community to come together and support local families through its annual Christmas Charity Donation Appeal. The club is opening its doors for donations from now until Sunday, December 21, giving supporters plenty of time to drop off items that will make a real difference during the Christmas season.
This year’s appeal is dedicated to helping two important community organisations:
Rowans Hospice
Accepting: unwanted clothes, toys, gift sets, and small household items

Rowans Hospice provides compassionate care and support to individuals and families during challenging times. By donating items you no longer need, you’ll be helping Rowans raise essential funds and continue its vital work.
Woodsy’s Pantry Portchester
Accepting: tinned food, dried pasta, sauces, and baby food/nappies.
Woodsy’s Pantry offers crucial assistance to families struggling, especially during the Christmas season. Even one extra item in your weekly shop can make a meaningful impact.
Whether you’re tidying up before Christmas or planning your usual food shop, there are simple ways to get involved. Please drop all donations to the club by Sunday 21st December.
Building Community Together
AFC Portchester takes pride in being more than just a football club it’s a hub for community spirit. Your generosity ensures that local families, particularly those experiencing hardship, feel supported and valued this Christmas.
Thank you for supporting the community this Christmas.
A member of staff will be at the club between 8am and 2pm. Outside of these hours, a secure drop-box will be available for donations.
