Huge progress on work to build the new Havant Lidl store in Bedhampton ahead of its opening date

The new Lidl store is being built on land next to B&Q in Purbrook Way with the outside of the supermarket building complete and work progressing on the carpark and road layout.

Once complete, it will have 110 car parking spaces and is expected create 40 full time jobs with vacanies recently advertised.

The News has been tracking the progress of the build. At the start of August the solar panels and roof had been fitted and in September the Lidl signage had been installed as well as the glass frontage.
