Southsea Spirit named best bar in Hampshire for third year running
A bar has won an award
Hat-trick celebrations are in store at an independent bar which has been proved it’s a cut above the rest for the third year running.
Southsea Spirit, in Albert Road, has been crowned the best bar in Hampshire in the Muddy Stilettos Awards 2026.
The bar, which is owned and run by sisters Harriet Scutt and Charlotte Osgood, opened in 2023, and has built a loyal customer base over the past three years, with this award reinforcing their success.
Southsea Spirit was founded following the launch of Southsea Spirit Tropical Gin.
Harriet said: "We're incredibly grateful to everyone who voted for us and continues to support independent businesses like ours.
“Southsea Spirit has always been about bringing people together, whether that's for a cocktail, an event, a celebration or simply a catch-up with friends. To win this award for the third year running means a huge amount to us."
The awards, run by Muddy Stilettos, aims to shine a light on independent businesses across the country through public voting and a panel of judges.
The likes of Southsea Coffee, Huis, Southsea Local and Harley Elliot (WRK Wellness Club) have also secured their winning titles within the Muddy Stilettos Awards.
Charlotte added: "Running an independent hospitality business isn't always easy, so recognition like this means a great deal to us and the team. We're proud to be part of Southsea's brilliant independent business community and thankful to everyone who continues to support us."
