Tesco in Whiteley closed following 'unforeseen circumstances' involving electrical fault

The closure was confirmed just before 11am on Whiteley Facebook page which said that the petrol station will remain open despite the superstores closure.

The Whiteley Facebook post said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances Tesco's in Whiteley will not be able to trade this morning.We will keep you updated as soon as we know more and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

“When it does open it will have limited fresh produce, no frozen foods or dairy products due to the in store electrical failure.

“All of these products should be back on the shelves by the weekend. The fuel Station will remain open for trade as normal.”
