"It's better than we thought": Sisters open new cafe Brew & Bites after transforming empty Stamshaw unit
An empty unit in Stamshaw has been given a new lease of life by two sisters who have opened a brand new cafe.
The new cafe, which specialises in home baked goods and hearty sandwiches, occupies the former Country Removals site which has been vacant for several years.

16-year-old Dollie said: “There was a lot of what that had to be done. It took about three months to get it ready.
“My sister loves baking so its really nice that she now has a space and we felt there really wasn’t anything like this in our area so everyone has come saying we’ve opened in a great location.”
Dollie added: “It has been so good - much better than we thought it was going to be. We sold out of everything the first two days.
“Our dad has got his own football club and he always comes up with new ideas and he has helped make this happen for us by getting people in to do the work.
Brew & Bites will also be offering a ‘make your own’ salad bar as well as classic hot drinks and sweet treats.
