Progress as work underway at site of new Aldi, KFC and Costa in Waterlooville
Progress is being made at the site of a new Aldi, KFC and Costa in Waterlooville over a year after the plans were approved.
Activity is taking place at Waterloo Park with workers onsite opposite the existing Lidl and McDonald’s.
Havant Borough Council granted permission in October 2024 for the supermarket, coffee shop and fast food chain to be built, despite objections from a number of local residents.
The planning was for three separate buildings to be constructed with 169 car parking spaces central to each unit. Once approved, the developers had three years to begin the work which has subsequently started this month.
