Poundland in Cosham confirmed to be closing as clearance sale begins

Signs have appeared in the window of a popular high street chain confirming that it is closing its branch in Portsmouth.

The Poundland store on Cosham High Street will be shutting soon with signs confirming that a ‘closing down sale’ is underway. While an official date has not yet been confirmed it is expected to close in mid-August.

There have been a number of Poundland branches shutting across the country over the past year, including stores in Gosport, Whiteley. Havant and North End.

Signs in the Cosham branch’s doors point customers to the Waterlooville and Commercial Road stores as the nearest ones available when it closes. There also remains Poundland stores in Fareham and Leigh Park.
