Portsmouth port welcomes P&O Cruise's world-class ship Aurora to the city
A LUXURIOUS cruise liner was spotted heading into Portsmouth earlier today.
P&O Cruises’ 270m-long ship Aurora sailed into Portsmouth International Port, garnering plenty of attention from locals and photographers alike.
The mid-sized cruise ship can accommodate up to 1,874 guests, having gone through a refit in 2019.

Loved by cruise enthusiasts for her world tours, Aurora takes passengers to the golden sands of the Caribbean, the crisp sunshine of the Mediterranean and the natural beauty of the Norwegian Fjords, among other destinations.
A spokeswoman from P&O Cruises outlined the nature of Aurora’s city visit today.
She said: ‘Aurora is visiting Portsmouth International Port to take on board food and equipment supplies.
‘We would like to thank Portsmouth International Port for its assistance and the welcome extended to the ship.’
On board the adults-only cruise liner, guests can indulge themselves at five dining venues and enjoy evening entertainment in the 652-seat Curzon theatre.
