Fast food chicken restaurant Morley's wants to serve up takeaways in Portsmouth
Fast food chicken outlet wants to serve takeaways
A fast food chicken restaurant in Portsmouth has lodged a planning application to allow it to serve takeaways.
Morley’s, based at 105D Commercial Road, has applied to Portsmouth City Council to become a mixed use facility as a restaurant and to now offer hot food takeaway.

The proposal for the outlet, which uses Just Eat as a partner to deliver food, is set to get the go-ahead.
City council planning documents stated: “Given its location and neighbouring uses, It is not considered to be detrimental to highway function or pedestrian safety above the existing situation and therefore no objection would be raised.”
Morley's is a fast food chain based across the country which sells fried chicken, burgers and spare ribs and was founded in 1985. The restaurant in Portsmouth opened last year.
