New Post Office opens in Southsea - what are the opening hours?
A brand new Post Office has opened in the heart of Southsea.
This week, the Post Office officially opened for business for the first time at New Kwiki Mart in Goldsmith Avenue, Southsea.
The convenience store has been in Southsea for more than a decade, having previously been home to safety equipment firm Saraband in the late 2000s. The new Post Office expansion will allow customers to post letters and parcels, do bill payments and even do their everyday banking.
As for opening hours, the Post Office will be open seven days a week, from 7am-11pm.
Graham Brander, Post Office area change manager, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best.
“We know how important our services are to customers, and we are confident that this brand-new Post Office will ensure that people in this area of Portsmouth, have easy access to our services.”
