Mountain Warehouse returns to Gunwharf Quays nearly 10 years after its previous outlet store closed - see inside

A popular outdoor clothing and equipment store has opened in Gunwharf.

Mountain Warehouse held its official opening on Saturday, August 15, however it held a soft opening two days before allowing customers to get a glimpse of what products are on offer.

It is the second time that the brand has opened in Gunwharf, with a previous outlet closing around 10 years ago.

Store manager, Peter Wilks, was delighted to welcome customers to the new store. He said: “It is great to be back in Gunwharf. The first two day’s trade has been quite good, especially as no-one knew we were open. We have a great range of products on offer, we still have some summer bits but the winter stock is starting to come through.

“We are really happy to be down here and hopefully we will be really busy from today. People have really liked it so far, they like the product range, the store layout, how modern it looks, and really like the price points as well.”
