Marwell Zoo to close Cafe Graze for 'exciting transformation' with a new contemporary menu in the pipeline
A cafe will close
An ‘exciting transformation’ is pending at a zoo cafe which will be closed for a few weeks as it undergoes a refurbishment.
The cafe, which is located near the meerkat and okapi areas, will remain closed until early July, with customers able to grab a bit at the zoo’s Keeper Kitchen, which opened last year.

A statement on Marwell Zoo’s social media said: “Café Graze will temporarily close as we begin an exciting transformation to create a more contemporary new food experience at the heart of Marwell.
“While work takes place, there will still be plenty of delicious options available across the zoo.”
Alongside Keeper’s Kitchen, located in the plaza, guests can also enjoy treats from The Outpost, Safari Scoops and refreshment pods.
The refurbishment comes after the conservation zoo announced its biggest visitor investment in two decades last year, which saw the launch of the 100-seater Keeper’s Kitchen, with Marwell 2035 organisational strategy also published to develop the site.
