Last minute preparations at new Miller & Carter Steakhouse ahead of its much-anticipated opening
Last minute preparations are taking place at the new Miller & Carter restaurant in Portsmouth which opens its doors this week.
The Great Salterns building in Eastern Road is being transformed into a new Miller & Carter Steakhouse which is set to open on November 28, replacing the Harvester which closed at the end of August.
All of the scaffolding has now gone allowing the public to see its new external look, complete with black borders around the windows, and staff have been on site to get the new restaurant ready for its opening.
A Miller & Carter spokesperson said: “We think the residents of Portsmouth will be delighted with the transformation and what Miller & Carter has to offer and we can't wait to show you what we have created."
