Award hairdresser celebrates double national nomination
A Havant hairstylist is celebrating after being nominated for two categories of a prestigious national awards.
Jas Colley of Jas Colley Hair in West Street has been shortlisted in the Best Hair Business and Best Small Business at the UK Small Business Awards 2026.
For Jas, it is the continued validation of her efforts over the past 10 years in the industry which has seen her nominated for numerous awards including taking home the title of Blonde Specialist of the Year at the The Female Boss Awards 2025.
Speaking about her nominations, Jas said: “I am incredibly honoured and excited to have been shortlisted for both Best Hair Business and Best Small Business at the UK Small Business Awards.
“Winning Blonde Specialist of the Year last year was an incredible moment for me, and to have continued receiving recognition throughout 2026 before now being shortlisted for two national business awards is something I’m really proud of.
“Being recognised for Best Hair Business means so much because hairdressing is what I love, but the Best Small Business nomination feels particularly special because it recognises everything that goes on behind the scenes too — building a business, growing a loyal client base and constantly pushing myself to improve.
“I’m also incredibly proud to be representing Havant on a national level. I have so many amazing clients locally who have supported me and my business over the years, and they have played such a huge part in getting Jas Colley Hair to where it is today.”
The UK Small Business Awards ceremony will take place on December 19 in Birmingham with Jas learning her fate as the top 10 businesses will be announced on stage.
