"I am excited" - Chalk River returns to Emsworth with new pop-up shop
A clothing brand inspired by Hampshire coastal living is opening a new pop-up store in February.
Dan Tidbury started Chalk River in Emsworth in 2024, selling a range of clothing and accessories online before opening a pop-up store in the town for a few weeks at the end of 2024. He is now returning for a longer spell with a new pop-up store in North Street.
Work is currently underway to get the shop ready for opening and while there is no confirmed date as of yet, it could be open as early as this weekend.

Dan announced the new pop-up store on social media. He said: “This time last year I opened a pop-up shop in Emsworth town square. It lasted a few weeks and was a fantastic opportunity to build the Chalk River brand and meet so many people.
“A year on - I am excited to announce that I am opening a new pop-up shop on North Street Emsworth and plan to launch at the beginning of February. I’ll have tons of gorgeous new products, as well as all the old favourites and I can’t wait to see you all again.”
The new store is expected to be open around six months and is taking over the old tattoo shop situated next to Jonathan Ditton H air & Beauty Salon.
