Cllr Donna Jones, leader of Portsmouth City Council, has tweeted out a picture of the starfish today, which have washed up after Storm Angus swept the region.

It comes after The Pyramids was forced to close yesterday due to flooding, though the gym can now be accessed via the pool reception.

A section of Clarence Esplanade was closed at the weekend as strong winds and flooding hit Southsea. Portsmouth City Council put temporary road-gate closures in place along the seafront after Storm Angus hit Portsmouth in the early hours of this morning.
