Hotel closes food service

Food service will be closed at a boutique hotel and wedding venue in the coming days.

Lysses House Hotel, in Fareham High Street, will put a pause on its food offering on October 27 and 28 will it undergoes improvement work.

The venue, which has 21 bedrooms, said “this is due to our kitchen being deep cleaned and our restaurant undergoing refurbishment as part of our ongoing improvements.”

The hotel has also taken on a new chef after its long-standing chef director, Clive, stepped away after four decades of dishing up culinary delights.

A post on social media said: “Stay tuned for more updates. We can’t wait to share the changes with you and take you along on this exciting new journey with us.”
