The return of a key member of staff to Barratt David Wilson Homes' Senior Leadership Team has given the Hampshire housebuilder’s board a 50/50 male and female split.

Stacey Drew has returned to the housebuilder’s board as Head of Finance, joining Managing Director Matt Paine, Sales Director Tammy Bishop, Development Director Sharon Eckford, Head of Customer Care Jeanette Murray-Jones, Technical Director Adam Quale, Construction Director Gary Bagley and Commercial Director Ross Snow.

Stacey joined Barratt in 2016 as Finance Manager and has worked her way up to become Head of Finance. She joins Tammy who began her career journey as an estate agent, progressing through the ranks at a time when the industry was largely male-dominated, and Sharon, who first started as a trainee land buyer with Barratt and has recently returned to the company 20 years later. Jeanette has also had a long career with Barratt, starting as a Customer Care Administrator in 2006 before becoming part of the senior leadership team in 2016.

Barratt David Wilson Homes seeks to inspire and support the next generation of women to take on roles in the housebuilding industry, working with schools and local communities to encourage and inspire more women into choosing a career in the housebuilding sector.

Barratt’s board is now a diverse team of leaders driving Barratt’s mission to become the UK’s leading sustainable housebuilder.
