Figures show demand for houses remains high
HOUSEBUILDER Persimmon Homes says demand for its homes remains high with forward sales for 2017 already running four per cent higher than at the same point last year.
The company released its trading update for the third quarter, which covers July 1 to November 1.
Managing director Andrew Fuller welcomed a 19 per cent increase in private sales compared to the same period last year.
The company currently has an application to build 119 homes on fields in Cranleigh Road, Portchester, which will go to an independent inquiry in the spring.
