Topshop returns to UK high streets amid John Lewis partnership - Hampshire store impacted

A major retailer is partnering up with a fashion brand to reintroduce a popular name back onto the high streets - and a Hampshire store is impacted.

From February next year, Topshop and Topman stock will be sold in 32 John Lewis stores across the UK, with Southampton part of the first wave.

Mr Ruis, managing director of John Lewis, said: “We think this is something people will queue outside the door for.

“It will bring more of those ‘family day out’ shoppers and as the only place to go for it, we will hopefully be driving customers who don’t always come through the door, across all age groups.”

Topshop shut all of its stores back in 2021 after its parent firm, Arcadia, fell into administration, leaving a gap in many high streets.
