Double award recognition for de Mellow & Co celebrates advice excellence and outstanding apprenticeship commitment

The firm was Highly Commended in the Chartered Firm category at the 2025/26 Personal Finance Society’s (PFS) Personal Finance Awards, one of the most prestigious accolades in the UK financial services profession.

In addition, de Mellow & Co was named SME Employer of the Year at the Portsmouth & Chichester Apprenticeship Awards 2025, sponsored by the South East Apprenticeship Ambassador Network.

These two awards showcase the firm’s commitment to delivering high-quality financial advice, while investing in the next generation of professionals through its in-house Financial Planner Academy and wider apprenticeship programme.

De Mellow & Co’s Financial Planner Academy continues to grow, with seven trainee financial planners now progressing through qualifications and gaining practical experience under the mentorship of the firm’s established advisers.

The firm, founded in 1990 and based in Hambledon and Petersfield, provides bespoke financial advice across pensions, investments, mortgages, protection, and estate planning. These awards follow an already successful year for the business, which also saw team member Jodie Phelps win Financial Adviser of the Year – South East at the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2025.
