Pearl of the Orient forced to close due to staff shortages

Staff shortages force a popular takeaway to close.

Pearl of the Orient, in Havant Road, Farlington, took to social media at the start of August to confirm it will be closed ‘until further notice’.

The Chinese takeaway, which serves up customer favourites including chicken chow mein, egg-fried rice, sweet and sour and more, said staff shortages are to blame for the temporary closure.

There is no confirmed re-opening date for the takeaway, with the website currently unavailable.
