Blow to the high street as popular and established outdoor clothing store Millets closing down in Southsea
Signs have appeared in a popular and well established shop in Southsea confirming it is closing down.
Millets has been located on Palmerston Road since 2011, serving a range of outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment. However, signs have now appeared in the windows of the shop confirming it is closing down.
The store is holding a closing down sale with 20 per cent off “absolutely everything” with the sign confirming “all stock must go”. It will be closing its doors for the final time on February 28.
It is another blow to the high street following the closure of Lloyds bank last year. The closure means that there are no more banks left open on Palmerston Road.
