Top comedy talent set to light up The Kings Theatre this Christmas

The Kings Theatre is preparing to welcome a trio of well-known comedians this festive season, with a night of stand-up hosted by local favourite James Alderson.
Alderson, who has long championed live comedy in the region, will introduce a line-up that includes performers familiar to millions of TV viewers.
Opening the evening is Jake Lambert, whose profile has risen rapidly following appearances on Live At The Apollo and the travel series World’s Worst Roads alongside Jack Dee. Lambert has spent much of the year touring internationally as support for Michael McIntyre, bringing his sharp, observational style to audiences around the world.
Also taking to the stage is Harriet Dyer, fresh from her recent slot on Live At The Apollo. Dyer has become a regular face on panel shows and comedy programmes, with credits including Comedy Central and The Russell Howard Hour. She has also appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and recently completed a tour with Jason Manford.

Headlining the night is Simon Brodkin, a comedian known not only for his stand-up but also for the high-profile stunts and characters that have made headlines over the years. Brodkin, who originally gained widespread recognition as Lee Nelson, continues to draw large audiences with his quick-fire humour and unpredictable, bold approach to comedy.
For the Kings Theatre, the event marks another highlight in its seasonal programme, offering audiences a chance to see nationally acclaimed performers in an intimate local setting.
