Kerry’s Slimming World journey is about so much more than weight loss – though losing over two stone is an amazing achievement in itself. What really shines through is the confidence, kindness, and determination she’s gained along the way.

From the moment Kerry joined, she fully embraced Food Optimising and the Slimming World mindset, making changes that fit her lifestyle and helped her feel healthier and happier. As the weight came off, something even more powerful happened – Kerry’s belief in herself grew.

That confidence hasn’t just stayed within group. Kerry is incredibly helpful and supportive, always willing to go the extra mile. During busy promotion periods, she’s been a huge support to her own consultant, Sam, helping to deliver leaflets and spread the Slimming World message. Not only that, she’s also stepped up to help another local consultant, Andi Denyer-Willis – who is actually Sam’s team developer. That kind of support and generosity truly shows the heart of our Slimming World community

One of the most inspiring parts of Kerry’s journey is how her relationship with physical activity has changed. What once felt daunting is now something she feels confident and excited about. Kerry has started taking part in parkruns, building her fitness, stamina, and self-belief week by week.

And now? She’s even considering Race for Life – not the 5k… but the 10k!

How amazing is that?!

Kerry’s story proves that Slimming World isn’t just about the number on the scales. It’s about confidence, community, and discovering just how capable you really are. We’re so proud of you, Kerry – and we can’t wait to see what you achieve next

Sam runs thriving groups in both Leigh Park and Bedhampton, and Kerry attends her Thursday 5.30pm group at St Michael’s and All Angels Church, Dunsbury Way.
