Metaverse VR Ltd (MVR) is entering a team of 12 runners into the AJ Bell Great South Run. The runners are united for a great cause to raise funds and awareness for SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood) WWW.SUDC UK

Colleagues from MVR, a provider of immersive training solutions and simulation based in at Portsdown Technology Park, are running for a cause that is close to one of their teammate's hearts. The Meta-Team will be participating in the renowned 10-mile seafront race to raise funds for SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood), a charity they support. Together, they hope to raise over £3,000, making a meaningful difference for this important cause.

The Great South Run on Sunday, October 20th, will be a challenge for the Meta-Team, as many of them are tackling the event for the first time. Despite their mixed abilities, they are training hard, determined to give their all. Some team members are in peak condition, viewing this race as an excellent way to stay fit whilst raising awareness for SUDC. Others, animated by their youth, are eager to take on the challenge. A few of the more seasoned members of the team are drawing strength from their teammates’ and commitment to fundraising.

Nicola Green, the Metaverse VR Meta-Team organiser, shared:

“Our team of 12 may be spread across the UK, but we are all united by a single purpose: running for a cause that is deeply personal to us—SUDC UK (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood)."

"In April, our teammate Anthony and his family faced the devastating loss of their daughter Abigail to SUDC. This tragedy has profoundly touched us all at MVR, and is why we’re so committed to raising awareness and funds for SUDC UK, who support families enduring this unimaginable heartbreak.”

Toby Everitt CEO, shared:

“As a team, the MVR family are committed to making an impact for SUDC UK, and we invite everyone to join us raising awareness and funds for this important cause.”

The team is not just running for a medal, they are running to make a difference.
