Doctor Who: Portsmouth links to BBC show as classic The Sea Devils re-shown

Fans have recently been transported back to 1972 with a newly re-edited version of the BBC classic Doctor Who story The Sea Devils – which was in part filmed in Portsmouth.

The classic Doctor Who episode starring Jon Pertwee was newly re-edited ahead of the creatures' return in The War Between the Land and the Sea.

The Sea Devils aired on December 7 and can be seen on iPlayer, while The War Between the Land and the Sea is currently being shown on BBC1 on Sunday at 8.30pm.
