Chuckling Cherries Comedy brings Mark Simmons and Julian Deane to Cosham
Following a sell-out debut in September, Chuckling Cherries Comedy returns to the BT Social Club on Friday, 14th November 2025, with another unmissable lineup of top-tier stand-up talent.
Headlining this month’s show are two of the UK’s most acclaimed comedians, Mark Simmons (Mock the Week, Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe 2024 - Winner) and Julian Deane (Russell Howard’s Good News, The Comedy Store). Known for their razor-sharp joke writing and effortless delivery, both bring years of experience performing at the biggest comedy clubs and festivals across the country.
They’ll be joined by rising stars Andrew Fox and Natalie Bryce, with Travis Booth-Millard returning as host and promoter after a hugely successful launch night.
“I've been a big fan of Mark Simmons for years, so it brings me great pleasure to bring him to Cosham,” said Booth-Millard. “I know that the locals are going to love him, and all the other acts!”
Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show starting at 8:00 PM. Tickets are £15 in advance (plus booking fees) or £17 on the door, available directly from the venue or online. Early booking is advised, as the previous show sold out well ahead of time.
While the BT Social Club offers a friendly and intimate space perfect for live comedy, please note that the venue does not currently have step-free or wheelchair access.
Chuckling Cherries Comedy is fast becoming a must-see event for comedy fans in Portsmouth, bringing big laughs, familiar faces, and the best new talent to Cosham regularly.
