‘Bright Sparks’ with the Havant Chamber Orchestra
The Havant Chamber Orchestra is delighted to present ‘Bright Sparks’ this Saturday, 21 March at 7:30pm, a wonderful evening of music written by the famous composers Mozart, Mendelssohn and Bizet when they were only teenagers.
Taking place at the Hayling Island Community Centre, the evening will feature A Midsummer Night’s Dream Overture by Mendelssohn which brilliantly captures the fantasy, humour and romance of Shakespeare’s play, plus Bizet’s lively Symphony No. 1 in C. We are also delighted to welcome our own local ‘bright spark’, the amazingly talented soloist Markus Simojoki who will be playing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 in G major with us.
Tickets: are available to purchase from TicketSource via our website havantorchestras.org or via telephone 0333 666 3366.
