His new book, A Lifetime of Moments, is winning rave early reviews from readers who call it “inspiring”, “honest”, and “laugh-out-loud funny.”

Keith, who has lived in Liss for more than 20 years, has spent a large part of his life navigating serious health challenges including Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, multiple heart procedures, Peripheral Neuropathy, and a lifetime with Marfan Syndrome. Despite all of this, he is known in the community for his humour, warmth, and tireless work as both Chairman of Liss Parish Council and former Chairman of East Hampshire District Council.

His memoir, A Lifetime of Moments, captures the stories behind the man many in the village know only from meetings, projects, and local initiatives. From being born during a thunderstorm to his adventures with the cardiac team, from absurd hospital escapades to deeply emotional chapters on grief, relationships, and fatherhood, Keith writes openly about the highs and lows that shaped him.

The book has received strong early praise. One reviewer wrote: “This was an absolute delight to read… I did laugh so much - my budgie wanted to know why!” Another described it as “inspiring, funny, tender and completely unforgettable.” A third added: “Keith has a unique way of looking at life… laugh because otherwise you’d cry!”

Asked why he wrote it, Keith said: “People kept telling me my life was inspirational. I never believed them. I was so close to the wood I couldn’t see the trees. But after the last couple of years with my health, I realised if I didn’t tell my story now, I might never get the chance.”

A Lifetime of Moments is available now on Amazon, with a free sample chapter provided in Keith’s media pack for press and readers.

Keith hopes the book will resonate with anyone facing illness, loss, or simply the chaotic reality of everyday life.

“If it makes someone laugh on a day they didn’t think they could,” he says, “then I’ve done my job.”
